“Servant” is meant in the same sense as “Servant Leadership.” It proposes that the essence of life is a kind of unattached generosity – the willingness and determination to be of service, in any way possible, as much of the time as possible. It combines two ideas that are often seen as opposites – service and pleasure – into one unified whole.
